A big shout out to our guest speaker for our
March meeting, Jeff Mariani from Casa-deCedros. Such a great wealth of information,
and a bucket list destination for sure!!
I am looking forward to our next guest
speaker, Tonie Bangos. I have always thought
of her as The little girl who knows it all! You
might have seen her on the Bloody Decks
“Sportboat Roundup” fishing updates, but
now you get to see her in person! So, be sure
to mark your calendars and enjoy another
great presentation from those who know!
When you arrive at our next meeting on April
4th, there are several things I ask you to do.
First, please be sure to sign in, whether you’re
a guest, an active member, or a renewing
member. If you are a first-timer after winning
your membership at the Bart Hall Show, you
get 10 Free Raffle Tickets, so be sure to ask
for those and we will check you off the list. If
you are an active member and you’re bringing
a guest, you each get 10 Free Raffle Tickets
too!! But wait, there’s more! If your guest
joins that night, you each get 10 more Free
Raffle Tickets!!! And don’t forget to wear
your membership badge for the Badge Raffle!
Next, stop to sign up for our Overnight
charter, our full-day charter, and for our next
tournament! If you don’t have a boat, but
would like to fish our Bottom Fish
Tournament, I already know a captain looking
for a couple of anglers. So, get Ron to put you
on the list to fish. If you do fish on somebody
else’s boat, be sure to offer to help pay for gas,
bait and/or wash the boat.
Next, we need your help at Day at the Docks!
Simply cutting squid, baiting hooks,
managing kids to hookup, release the fish,
“Next!” It’s that easy! Please sign up and get
your free “Staff” Day at the Docks T-Shirt!!
Please see insert for more information.
I then encourage you to stop by the clothing
table to see the latest and greatest of warm and
cool wear, then check out the raffle table and
buy some tickets, and then meet and greet
with our like-minded fishermen! I encourage
you to introduce yourself to somebody you’ve
never met before and tell a fish story or two.
That’s one of the reasons why I’ve been a
member since 1997 … the camaraderie we
have within this club is awesome!
