RockFishing is open in California waters at all depths
NEW REGULATIONS:

  • All boats fishing for rockfish must carry a decending device.
  • Daily sub-limit for vermillion rockfish is reduced to 2 per person

TONIGHT

Wind south to 10 knots. Gusts to 15 knots after midnight. Wind waves around 2 feet or less. Mixed swell west 2 to 3 feet at 10 seconds and southwest 1 feet at 17 seconds.

THURSDAY

Wind south 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves around 2 feet or less. Mixed swell west 2 to 3 feet at 9 seconds and southwest 1 feet at 17 seconds.

THURSDAY NIGHT

Wind south 10 knots. Wind waves around 2 feet or less. Mixed swell west 2 to 3 feet at 9 seconds and southwest 1 feet at 16 seconds.

FRIDAY

Wind south 10 knots. Wind waves around 2 feet or less. Mixed swell west 2 to 3 feet at 9 seconds and southwest 1 to 2 feet at 15 seconds.

FRIDAY NIGHT

Wind south 10 knots in the evening...becoming variable less than 10 knots. Wind waves around 2 feet or less. Mixed swell west 2 to 3 feet at 8 seconds and southwest 1 to 2 feet at 15 seconds.

SATURDAY

Wind south 10 to 15 knots. Wind waves around 2 feet or less...becoming 3 feet in the afternoon. Mixed swell west 2 to 3 feet and southwest 1 to 2 feet.

SATURDAY NIGHT

Wind west 10 to 15 knots with gusts to 20 knots. Wind waves around 4 feet. Mixed swell west 3 to 4 feet and southwest 1 to 2 feet. A slight chance of rain after midnight.

SUNDAY

Wind west 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 25 knots. Wind waves around 5 feet. Mixed swell northwest 4 to 6 feet at 6 seconds and southwest 2 feet at 15 seconds. A slight chance of rain in the morning.

SUNDAY NIGHT

Wind west 15 to 20 knots...becoming southwest 10 knots after midnight. Wind waves 3 to 5 feet in the evening... becoming 2 feet or less. Mixed swell northwest 5 to 6 feet at 8 seconds and southwest 2 feet at 14 seconds.

MONDAY

Wind variable less than 10 knots...becoming west 10 knots in the afternoon. Wind waves around 2 feet or less. Mixed swell west 4 to 5 feet at 8 seconds and south 2 feet at 15 seconds.

MONDAY NIGHT

Wind northwest 10 knots in the evening...becoming variable less than 10 knots. Wind waves around 2 feet or less. Mixed swell west 3 to 4 feet at 8 seconds and south 2 feet at 16 seconds.
